Local 440's Jurisdiction covers  King County. What is "jurisdiction?" That means Local 440 is entitled to any Union Laborers work in our area, or "jurisdiction."  This does not include Building Trades, which is covered by Laborer's Local 242.

 

OUR WORK INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: EXCAVATIONS/MAINLINE PIPE/DISTRIBUTION UTILITY WORK/CONCRETE PLANTS/HEAVY HIGHWAY/TUNNELS/DAMS/BRIDGES

We also represent many Port of Seattle workers.
